Lavora alla �K�ster & Co.�, l’officina meccanica aperta in una vecchia baracca da Otto K�ster e Gottfried Lenz, i commilitoni con cui ha condiviso gli orrori della Grande Guerra.

Il lavoro all’officina � duro ma Lohkamp, K�ster e Lenz sono ancora giovani, sani e forti. Certo di sera riaffiorano le immagini del passato coi loro occhi di morte, ma a quello come antidoto c’� l’acquavite. O, come accade da un po’ di tempo a questa parte per Robert Lohkamp, c’� Patrice Hollmann.
